Rubik: model activist

Anja Rubik is committed to defending Polish women’s rights. Her biggest project is the Foundation, born in 2017 as a response to the almost absolute cancellation of sex education courses in Polish schools. The aim of the project is to inform adolescents about issues related to sexual relations and to speak freely about the LGBTQ+ community, issues that the local Catholic Church demonizes.

In 2020, in response to abortion restrictions imposed in her country, Vogue Poland invited Anja to create a photo shoot herself. Three strong and raw covers were created, claiming the right of every woman to have control of her own body.

She is also a consultant and ambassador for Parley for the Oceans, an environmental NGO that fights for the protection of the oceans.
