Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin
Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin are the most famous Dutch couple of the moment was born in the Vogue academy of fashion in Amsterdam.
The photographer, Inez, and his make-up artist and partner, Vinoodh, started working together in 1990, making photographs which, with the use of digital touching up, were provocative and endowed with a sense of theatrical violence.

The couple produced advertising campaigns for Joop!, Patrick Cox, and Thierry Mugler, and their work is seen in several international magazines, such as Vogue. Among their most famous artpieces there are the Gigi and Bella Hadid’s Vogue Paris covers, Kendall Jenner’s Holiday Magazine cover and Taylor Swift’s Vogue cover.
The first Italian exhibition of Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin took place in Milan, in 2019, at Palazzo Reale. The Hi-Lo Transformers exhibition of Inez & Vinoodh offered photos and images with eccentric colours.
