Correani

Ugo. Italian jeweler. He created some of the most innovative jewellery for Italian and French prêt-à-porter in the 1970s and 1980s. His made his début in 1973 designing accessories for Albini. From the late 1970s up until his death in 1992, he worked with Versace, Valentino, Lagerfeld, Fendi, Chanel, Lacroix, and Chloé, proposing a revolutionary idea for fashion accessories. He also worked for the theater, contributing to the creation of costumes for the production of Salomé by Richard Strauss that was staged by Bob Wilson at La Scala in the 1986-87 season. Today, the designer for Correani is Robert Bruno.
