CIT
CIT (Confezioni Italiane Tessili) is an Italian manufacturing company, specialized in production of menswear and womenswear shirts. It produces third party and owns two brands.
CIT history
The company was born in Milan in 1939, thanks to Gavazzeni family, which still today, at the third generation, manages it. Nowadays leaded by Vittorio Polli and Giuseppe Gavazzeni, the company is based in Arcore, in an industrial pole of more than 45.000 square meters, and, with its production, including menswear and womenswear shirts, sportswear, knitwear, dresses and womenswear outerwear, registers an annuale turnover of about 45 million euros.
The company owns two brands: CIT Luxury 1939 is the historical brand, specialized in menswear items. Bagutta, instead, was born in 1975 because a shirt line was needed for high quality market; later, a womenswear line was added to menswear items and became a prêt-à-porter collection. To be noticed Baindouche line too, which produces vanguard menswear items.
