LE SPOSE DI GIÒ: AN ATELIER IN THE CENTRE OF MONZA

It was 1975 when the De Capitani sisters, after the experience gained in the field of high fashion and design, opened their first atelier in the centre of Monza, Le Spose di Giò. The aim was to create a new line of wedding dresses, which banishes unnecessary excesses by enhancing the bride in a natural way. No artifices and frills, therefore, and space for simple, natural lines, but with the utmost attention and care to detail.

Each dress is personalized and adapted to the type of person as well as to the tone of the ceremony. The continuous stylistic research, the use of exclusive fabrics, the quality of the tailoring make it possible to give each model that extra grit that has made Le Spose di Giò a solid and internationally respected brand.

In 2019 Le Spose di Giò received the nomination in the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. In the category for the ability to change without transfiguring itself in over forty years. Moreover, in the last episode of “DOC – Nelle tue mani”. A TV series broadcasted on Rai 1 in 2020, Elisa wore a wedding dress of Le Spose di Giò. In 2021 the magazine Elle Extra Sposa celebrates the Spose di Giò, dedicating an article to the brand.

POINTS OF SALE IN ITALY

Currently there are six points of sale throughout Italy. The Monza shop has been joined by those in Bergamo, Varese, Bologna, Bari, a corner was also added in Palermo. High quality of the garments and fabrics, the precision in manufacturing and the continuous stylistic research. Through these, they have made this brand one of the most important in Italy in the field of wedding dresses. They’ve opened another shop outside of Italy in London.
