Lane devoted himself to goldsmithery in 1963, designing jewels in strass, glass and golden metal, matched with buttons and evening shoes.
The Fabulous Fake jewels
Lane is particularly famous for his “Fabulous Fakes” jewels, beloved by iconic women of the past, such as the Duchess of Windsor, Jackie Kennedy, Diana Vreeland, Audrey Hepburn, and of the present, like Lady Gaga and Miley Cirus.
The Fabulous Fakes, as the word says, are fabuolous bijoux dedicated to the everyday women, therefore affordable for different types of social class.
