DYRBERG/KERN, COPENHAGEN JEWELRY BRAND
DYRBERG/KERN is a Danish jewelry company founded by Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern in 1985. The designer duo held their first Dyrberg/Kern fashion show in 1987 when they graduated from the Copenhagen School of Design.
Dyrberg/Kern proposed a design based on the Scandinavian tradition, but always linked to modern fashion, so much so that their style is not particularly Nordic. Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern are two designers who, from two different ways of looking at fashion, have developed a unique model. Clean and modern lines are present in the collections, both in those of jewelry and watches, and in those of accessories, such as rings, necklaces and sunglasses. The goal is to create a totally different look for each season.
In 2011/2012 the company decided to expand its business with the launch of the first Sterling Silver collection.
The Fashion Jewellery collections are launched twice a year: Spring/Summer Collection and Fall/Winter Collection. Each collection has a general theme with small stories turned into series.
