Blair

Alistair Blair (1956) was a french designer. Educated at the “school” of Dior and Givenchy, he presented his first Collection in Paris in March 1989. He continues the style of the great creators who aren’t afraid to use very precious cashmere with grey flannel, with a nostalgic inclination for the fashion of the past, but revisited in a modern key.
In the early 1990s, he took over Erik Mortensen’s position as artistic director of haute couture at Balmain. The experience was short, and after few months he was replaced by Hervé Pierre.
