Agassi

André (1970). Famous tennis player who often distinguished himself for wearing styles that fascinated a very young and supposedly rebellious audience. Among his fashion choices were denim shorts, a cap with an opening at the back for his bleached ponytail, and the pink-and-black outfit that drew the disapproval of tournament director Roland Garros in Paris in 1990 and an invitation to wear more moderate colors. He immediately complied during the next match at Wimbledon, appearing in a sort of pure-white maternity dress with his forehead covered by a white bandana like a pirate’s and showing the logo of Nike, his sponsor.
