Raymond (1912-1994). French photographer. In the course of a decidedly versatile career, he worked primarily in the movies as a screenwriter, set photographer, and director of photography in contact with the most important directors of the period from 1931-1977, with the exception of the war years when, in disgust with the German invaders who actually ran the studios, he devoted himself to portrait work. His fashion photographs were published in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Silhouette.
