Tourdjman

Georges Tourdjman (1935). French photographer. After working in the movie business for a number of years, in 1963 he moved to New York to learn photography. Beginning that year, he worked with Ike Weegler and became a pupil of Brodovitch, who was to influence profoundly his way of composing and shooting. In 1964, he returned to Paris where he set up a studio and worked for L’Oréal, Hermès, Dior, Chanel, Dim, Lanvin, and Rabanne. Queen, Marie France and other women’s magazines often used his work for cover shots.
