Tayama

Atsuro Tayama (1955). Japanese designer. He arrived in Paris with his diploma from the Bunka College in his pocket, and in 1974 he became the head assistant to Yohji Yamamoto. From 1974 to 1982 he worked as the chief director of Yamamoto Europe. Already the owner of his own company in Japan, he opened his first boutique of men’s prêt-à-porter in 1990 in Paris, in the Marais neighborhood, and second boutique in 1997, in Saint-Germain-des-Près. His Collections are currently on sale at the Espace Colette, one of the best known and trendiest Parisian shops.
