André Kim

Korean brand connected to Moda e Parfum Beauté and created by the designer of the same name. For years it has been one of the best-known brands from Korea, carrying Korean culture to the world. The designer made his international début in 1962 on the runways of Paris. He followed with presentations in Australia, China, Egypt, Italy, Spain, and the U.S. He was the first Korean designer to be awarded the Medal for Culture of the President of Korea, in 1997 (he had received a similar award from the Republic of Italy in 1982). In 2000 he was a UNICEF special representative and he has since then expanded his charity work. His style is baroque, fanciful, and inspired by a fusion of western elegance and eastern tradition. His brand also includes a line of cosmetics, perfumes and skin care products, all of high quality.
