Smith

Wynn (1967). American designer born in San Francisco. To break her in, she spent two periods in Geoffrey Beene’s studios in New York and Paris in 1989 and 1990. Her fashion (she began in 1995 by giving her name to a brand that was changed to Wink in 1997) is typified by excellent cuts, fastidious attention to detail, an eye on the masters such as Courrèges, Armani and Kawakubo, and a sense of transgression. She shows in New York.
