Redaelli, Confezioni

Redaelli an Italian packaging company founded in 1920 in Capriano (Mi).

Italian garment manufacturer company who produces military uniforms as a subcontractor. The production of civilian clothing, which began in 1937, is nowadays distributed throughout Italy under the brand names of Redaelli and Redster by Redaelli.

Firstly in 1956, the company, which had already moved to Verano Brianza, became a corporation. Thereafter in 1970 and in 1975, new plants were built. Later in, 1980s the company began to work with the fashion designers Ted Lapidus, Maurizio Baldassari and Nicola Trussardi. Later, the company signed a production agreement with Ferré that lasted almost until the end of the 1990s.

In 1989 it began to produce Gianmarco Venturi and in 1990 Fendi. More recently, contracts have been signed with Antonio Fusco, Luciano Soprani and Carlo Pignatelli.

Futhermore in 1999, Pino innocente, became the designer of Redaelli confezioni, in an attempt to renew the style, while maintaining the great attention to detail and choice of prestigious materials.

The company has a number of plants, 750 employees, and turnover of more than 100 billion lires. It has 400 shops in Italy and 500 more scattered throughout the world.
