Polyolefin is a synthetic fiber

Only two derivatives of Polyolefins: polyethylene and polypropylene with textile characteristics currently not used, despite research and undisputed suitability for clothing and furnishings. It is a low cost fiber, does not require ironing, resists abrasion, recovers its shape. It is used for some baby products because it is water repellent.
