Onitsuka Tiger

Sports shoes and young fashion clothing launched in 2000, inspired by 1960s and 1970s trends. The label was developed from an old range called “Tiger” made by the Japanese clothing company Asics, founded in Kobe in 1949 by the former black-market beer merchant Kihachiro Onitsuka, and now one of the world’s biggest producers of sports shoes. They have updated old styles using high quality materials and technological innovations, adding references to Pop Art and 1960s teenage culture.
