MINTDESIGNS IS A BRAND CREATED BY TWO JAPANESE DESIGNERS IN 2001

The autumn 2021 collection

Mintdesigns is a label created in 2001 by two Japanese students Saint Martin, Nao Katagi and Hokuto Katsui, both born in 1973. A collection consisting mainly of timeless pieces has spread very quickly thanks to the internet and only recently it can also be purchased in boutiques all over the world.

“Mint” in the “mintdesigns” brand means “brand new” and of “rare value” in addition to the fresh image of herbal mint.

Hokuto Katsi was born in Tokyo in 1973. After studying at the Parsons School of Design of New York he graduated at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London.

Nao Yagi was born in Osaka in 1973. He graduated at Doshisha University with a major in fine arts and at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London.

In 2015 Mint Designs, a collection of works, was published.
