MICH DULCE, FILIPINO MILLINER
Mich (Michelle) Dulce, is a milliner born in the Philippines in 1981. She has a cosmopolitan background from the most prestigious fashion institutes in the world and for this reason she is respected in the fashion scene of her country of origin.
Very feminine clothes full of humour, to which a real hat collection has recently been added.
In 2009, the Mich Dulce label was sold globally for the first time, with retailers in Manila, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore. Since 2010, she has been focusing her career as a milliner and corset maker, gaining popularity for her custom made corsets that can take up to 6 inches off the waist. In February 2010, Dulce won the prestigious British Council International Young Creative Entrepreneur International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year award for fashion at the London Fashion Week.
In March 2017, Dulce founded Grrrl Gang Manila, a feminist group that aims at creating safe spaces for women both online and offline.
The stars who wore her creations are Lady Gaga, Anna Dello Russo, Paris Hilton, Paloma Faith and Shingai Shoniwa.
