Despite this, Kim establishes a partnership with Riccardo Tisci and the Givenchy fashion house. The result is the creation of a personal style for the star: ruffled cocktail dresses, foldable boots and tropical prints by Givenchy , are what best describes the streetwear but still elegant style of the entrepreneur.

MUGLERIZED: THE PASSION FOR FASHION ARCHIVES

Kim has never hidden her passion for the world of Haute Couture over the years , especially when it comes to the 80s-90s fashion shows of the French designer Thierry Mugler .

In February 2019 for the Hollywood Beauty Awards, the entrepreneur managed to get her hands on a vintage Mugler dress, from the 1998 spring / summer collection. Two months later, Kim flew to Montreal in a mini dress with corset , also taken from the archives of the maison, for the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the French designer at the MMFA . It seems like a dream come true for the young Kardashian.

VINTAGE FASHION: A REAL TREND

It now seems that Kim’s style is going in a new direction: from comfortable and streetwear, the TV star is increasingly taking inspiration from the fashion archives of the 90s-00s.

In August 2019, Kim posed for Vogue Arabia in 90s suits signed as always by Thierry Mugler, demonstrating the bond between the French designer and the American star.

After being the center of media attention for her hourglass physique, Kim has completely changed the aesthetic standards in the new millennium. It is therefore not surprising that the entrepreneur has stepped on the wave: in 2020 Kim launches Skims, the brand that produces shaping and containment underwear . An idea she gave birth to while she was pregnant with her Chicago daughter. The intent? To harmonize the silhouette without sacrificing comfort and psychophysical well-being.
