Leo Pizzo

Goldsmith company established in Valenza (Italy) in 1971 by Leonzio Pizzo who, with his entrepreneurial spirit, hinted at the potential of industry in Valenza and focused especially on the export market, adopting artisan and semi-artisan’s craft methods. The company, which reached high quality standards technically and for the use of expensive materials — for example, diamonds, precious colored stones, corals and turquoise in the Summer collections — has a totally in-house production cycle. Pizzo has been supported by his wife Rosaria Di Giorgio since 1988. He directs the creative team, developing traditional themes alongside those suggested by research, plus others of naturalist or animalier subjects, and in particular the image of the anchor, which has become one of the company’s symbols. The brand is distributed in Europe, the USA and Asia in retail or bulk, as well as in Italy.
