Kogan

Serge (1910). French tailor. After an apprenticeship in his father’s tailoring workshop, and a short period as a designer and model maker with Robert Piguet, he was hired by Jacques Heim where he stayed until 1945. He worked for three years with Dior and Balmain, then with Lucien Lelong and Heim, before leaving in 1948 to go to the United States. After returning to Paris, he opened his tailor’s workshop in 1951. His own business lasted until 1953.
