Fielden

David (1951). English designer. After twenty years on the British runways, he arrived in Milan with his Autumn-Winter 1999-2000 prêt-à-porter collection. He studied at the Birmingham College of Art. A former dancer and choreographer at the Rambert Ballet and a costume designer for the theater, he made his fashion début selling second-hand clothes on King’s Road. In 1977, he opened a space of his own and launched a griffe that very much played on theatricality. Among his clients are Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Hurley.
