Tiktiner

Dina Tiktiner (1918). French designer. She was known for a look that the experts called “CÂte d’Azur” or “Riviera.” She inaugurated her first atelier in Nice, her home town, in 1948. She is considered to have been a pioneer of the total look, and she specialized in summer wear with simple lines and bright colors. Helped by her husband Henri Viterbo and her daughters Vivienne and Micaela, she opened numerous boutiques Paris, London and in the United States. After selling the label in 1989, the family recently reacquired it.
