Domenici

Anna Domenici. Italian designer, born in Milan. She studied in Florence and Rome, where she received her degree. In the mid 1960s she earned her living by selling sketches and drawings to up-and-coming ready-to-wear houses. In 1970, she joined the Krizia design department and became the creative right arm of Mariuccia Mandelli. It was a symbiotic collaboration that lasted 24 years and which, in 1980, gave birth to the fan-shaped plissé. Their work together ended in 1994. Shortly after, she was asked to update the Mila Schön Collections but in a traditional way. She stayed there 4 years.
