Crali

Tullio Crali (1910). Italian artist. In 1932, he designed men’s clothes. Close to the later Futurist wave known as Second Futurism, Crali brought back to clothing that essentiality and modernity of cut typical of the movement. He used contrasting colors. The geometric and asymmetric decorations recalled the dynamism of the Futurists. There were also several dresses during the 1930s with chromatic and geometric backgrounds and with distinctive ideas such as the use of pleats in different colors. Some of his pieces are on display in the La Rosa Collection in Rome.
