Italo (1922). Italian shoemaker, born in Parabiago (Mi). Right after World War II, he established a small shoe factory (his great-grandfather was also a shoemaker). He was the first to threaten the dominant position in price and quality held by Bologna. A friend of Walter Albini, who acted as his consultant together with Alberto Lattuada, he was the official shoemaker at the high fashion presentations held in the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti in Florence. He has created shoes for Mila Schön and Fendi, and also has a brand of his own.
