Eileen (1950). American designer. Simplicity plus a natural and comfortable look are her guiding principles. She has never followed fashions or trends. Her goal has been to design a broad line of trousers, skirts, jackets, and shirts which would never look dated and would always be wearable and practical. Her outfits, mostly in linen, cotton, and wool, are suitable for any occasion. She began in 1984 and within a few years was able to win a very large clientele. She is in all the big department stores and owns 15 shops in the U.S.
