CLAUDIO MONTIAS IS AN ARGENTINE DESIGNER WHO MAKES SHOES WITH A MODERNIST STRUCTURE

Claudio Montias is an Argentine shoe designer. After a path of artistic studies in Buenos Aires, he moved to Milan in the 90s where he collaborated with important fashion houses such as Gianni Versace and Dolce&Gabbana. For the first time in 2007 he presented his collection of luxury footwear and accessories with a bursting gaucho personality. The Sculpture Wedge, the modernist structures, the vertiginous heels, the architectural intuitions, the study of colours and materials are the basis of his creations. Cult accessories that seem to come out of a surrealist factory in which Sonia Delaunay, Madeleine Vionnet, rock, pampa, glamour come together in his unmistakable style, rigorously Made in Italy.

In 2010 he won the prize Who is on Next?.
