Capello

Jewellery shop in Turin. Established by Vincenzo Capello in 1864, its first headquarters was on via Po. After the Bill of March 14th 1867, it became an official supplier to the Royal House of Savoy, for which it created tiaras and noble ornaments. The family has handed on its tradition from father to son. Today, the owner is Guglielmo Capello, who designs and creates the jewels himself. In the early 1900s, the shop moved to via Accademia delle Scienze, where it is still located today. In 1981, next to the old shop, they opened a boutique which, together with jewellery meant for a younger public, offers a line of silver and gift articles.
