Campanile

Shoe factory of Naples, with headquarter in Arzano. The founder, Nicola Campanile, started the firm in 1950, at the young age of 22. In the company are his two sons, Gigi and Cristiano. The turnover is roughly € 15 million a year, with 80% of the production sold in Italy, and the rest exported to Russia, Switzerland, the Far East, and the U.S. The store in Rome occupies five floors and is on via Condotti. The most famous models are the loafer with buckle, the lace-up model, and the Duilio laced shoe with a fringe, which is a men’s model that is heavily tooled. In addition to a second line called Casati, a casual brand, Brian Cress, was launched in 1993.
