She was worked for the brand from 2001 to 2016. Soon after she founded Afhra, and has been with it ever since.

AFHRA

AFHRA was born as a selection of creations, especially bags, made in Italy. Characterized by a polished and feminine style. The creations are designed but sensual, the style is minimalist but vibrant.

In September 2016, in conjunction with the presentation of the Spring-Summer 2017 season, the Afhra collection was born. The brand takes the name of Monica’s grandmother and wants to be at the same time a tribute to Africa dreamed of as a child and loved as an adult.

The goal of the Italian label and its founder is to catalyze the attention on handmade in Italy, taking care to produce sustainably. Each bag is made on commission from customers, avoiding waste.
