Wooyoungmi brand was founded by Youngmi Woo (1959), who is a Korean fashion designer. Since 1988 she has designed a men’s collection that is number one in South Korea.

Matelà cotton inspired by traditional textiles, leather inserts with Chinese writing of a political-spiritual nature characterise her most recent collections. He has shown twice in Paris, the first time in 2002.
In Korea her company is financed by CJ Group (a division of Samsung).
Her clothes are sold in department stores in Seoul, the US, England, Austria, Finland, Belgium and Germany.
