Thong

Bathing suit that consists of two tiny dots that cover the nipples and a strap that makes it possible to reduce the shape of the panties as much as possible. Legend has it that it was invented in Ipanema, the beachfront of Rio de Janeiro, on a midsummer’s day in 1972. Officially the maternity of this skimpy bathing suit is attributed to Rose di Primo, a Brazilian woman of Italian descent who, in order to attract attention at a party on the beach, supposedly chopped down her swimsuit. A few years later, sorry for what she had done, Rose supposedly entered a convent of the Presbyterian church, while her invention, a sledgehammer blow to the sense of common decency, continued to spread (and continued to to shrink) to all the beaches on earth. A men’s thong (obviously without a top) was presented by Tom Ford for Gucci in 1995. The point of focus: the G at the center of the straps that meet above the cleft in the butt-cheeks.
