Spring Court

First brand of tennis shoe made in France in 1936. In 1988, the owner Theodore Grimmeisen handed the company over to brothers Guy and Yvon Rautureau, the son and grandson of shoemakers, who have relaunched the brand. As well as their success on the tennis court, Spring Courts were adopted by young people in the 1970s and became an essential part of the way they dressed. The Vulcalux factory in the Dordogne makes 1,300 pairs of these shoes a day.
