Geoffrey B. Small (1960). American designer. He is a pioneer of avantgarde creators in the US. He began his career in 1979 in Boston in his parents’ loft with a Singer sewing machine. He twice (1979 and 1980) won the Oscar for fashion creator of the future, with Calvin Klein and the journalist Bernardine Morris on the jury. In 1994 he became the third American to be signed up as part of the official calendar of the French Chambre de la Mode. In 1998, he also signed an eyewear collection. His headquarters is in Boston at 115 Kingstone Street. His total annual sales are valued at $2.5 million. His clothes are distributed in 11 countries in the Far East, Europe, and America. With an eye on prices and street fashion, he aims to be the leading brand for young people in the 21st century.
