District of Paris in the 2^nd arrondissement. In the 1980s, it was the center of ready-to-wear in Paris with more than 1,000 little textile and clothing businesses concentrated in the area. You find wholesalers there, as well as those producing young fashion (like Naf Naf), plus cutting and sewing workshops. Many of the big names in the clothing industry have their head offices in Sentier.
