Schrecker

Regina Schrecker (1948). Italian designer. While she studied art, languages, and literature, first at Lausanne and then Milan, she established herself as a top model and in 1971 won the title Lady Universo. Having worked as a freelance fashion designer, she launched a brand of womenswear in 1980. In 1983, Andy Warhol painted her in New York and then attended her fashion shows in Milan, and the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro created the bottle for her perfume. In 1990, she set up an association of cultural exchanges with Japan, collaborating with the industrial district of Kyoto on researching and producing high-quality brocade. Since 1993, she has shown her collections in Russia and in Prague, Mongolia, Beijing, and Ukraine.
Since 2002 she has created costumes for the Festival Pucciniano in Torre del Lago.
