Sarong

Traditional garment worn by men and women in Malaysia and Indonesia. It is a piece of cotton or silk that is wrapped around the body and fastened at one side, either at the waist or at chest height and is usually full length. It is very similar to the Polynesian pareo. It is worn with a tight-fitting bolero called a kebaya. In 1985, Ungaro, Versace and Armani made wraparound sarong skirts, with a folded border wrapped around the waist.
