Rodier

French label of ready-to-wear fashion. It relied upon its own chain of stores. It was founded in 1853 as a textiles manufacturer. It was founded by Eugène Rodier who invented the Kasha, made in wool from Kashmir, and revolutionized knitwear fabrics by creating jersey. It has long belonged to the Prouvost group.
&Quad;2002. Two Rodier Woman shops were opened: one in Belgium, near Antwerp, and one in Cannes.
&Quad;2003, April. It signed a long-term contract with Tibbett Britten France, which is part of the British group Tibbett Britten Group plc, the international colossus of logistics, specializing in the stocking and distribution of foods and, of course, clothing: among the clients we should mention: Dixons/PC City, Erès, Episode, Gap, MF Girbaud, Hermès, Hugo Boss, Hyparlo, Intermarché, Metro, Perrier and Système U. The company operated for the fashion house 21,000 square meters in Cambrai. Currently, Rodier owns 160 stores, 150 licensees in the leading French department stores, and is present in about 300 multilabel stores scattered throughout 35 countries worldwide.
