Proietti Elisabetta 1962

Elisabetta known as Betty Proietti (1962) is an Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur

Proietti Elisabetta is an Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur. He was born in Umbria, and he returns there after years of activity between Milan and Rome because it is precisely among the native hills that his inspiration is best expressed. Proietti Elisabetta graduated in 1985 from the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, where her thesis is still exposed.

From 1985 to 1988 he completed his training with Miguel Cruz and from the master, whose assistant she soon became, she assimilated the cleanness of the forms the linearity of the solutions, and the passion for knitwear. In 1988 and 1989, as a stylistic assistant, she collaborated in the creation of Lancetti Betty’s Haute Couture and prêt-à-porter collections

Proietti Elisabetta: the Parah Spa Group

From 1988 to 2000, she designed the beachwear and clothing collections for the Parah Spa Group. In 1989 she founded the Snc, a stylistic consultancy company for the clothing industry. Since 1995 she has been teaching stylistics and fashion at the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, coordinating and assisting young stylists also in the work of the Final Work. She also works for Madis and other brands.

In 2002 she faced the challenge of her own label, giving birth in Umbria to the first “total look” knit collection produced under her name: twenty garments that transfer the concept of fabric clothing to knitwear. This is how little coats cut and folded like trench coats, pleated skirts with fringed belts, shawl pullovers, and low-waisted pinstripe trousers with knit-fabric turn-ups take shape.
