Pellegrino

Renaud (1946). French leather accessories designer. His first notorious success was a bag in the shape of a cardinal’s mitre. His Parisian boutique, which overlooks the courtyards of Faubourg Saint-Honoré, is a must for those in search of luxury accessories. Crammed with bags, wallets, and briefcases of every shape and form: big and tiny, rigid and soft. Born in Nice, he trained in a craftsmen’s workshop and then in the shoe industry, arriving in Paris in 1969 where he started his career making bags for Maria Carita’s boutique, and then later for Saint Laurent, until in 1983 he decided to produce his own range.
&Quad;As well as bags, he designs a range of luxury footwear, including some outstanding black leather slippers with mink panels.
