Pasquali

Guido (1946). Shoe designer. The Pasquali family started out in the shoe sector in 1918 when Italo moved from Bologna to Milan and opened a small workshop producing women’s shoes. His son Ermes took over the “hand-made” business and passed it on to Guido Pasquali, who studied engineering in Milan, in the 1970s. Guido made footwear for Albini and invented a shoe with colored stitching: a high-heeled shoe stitched with a matelassé pattern in seven different colors. He works with Armani, Missoni, Ferré, Valentino, Tarlazzi and Mugler.
