PALAU GUIDO

Palau Guido is an International Hairstylist, born in Bournemouth, England. After attending compulsory schools in Dorset, he explored Europe and settled down in Copenhagen. He returned to London, extremely interested in the world of fashion in all its aspects and glory. He decided to pursue a career as a hairstylist. Soon he started his training with Vidal Sasson, one of the well-known and already acclaimed masters of the trade. The latter was infamous for having created the ‘bob’ cut, the famous beret of Mary Quant. The designer who promoted the miniskirt in the 1960s was a massive hit amongst many.

Palau Guido International Hairstylist’s career in the fashion world began with his collaboration with Calvin Klein. Guido is now considered a hairdressing artist and regularly works with some of the most prominent photographers in the world. Mert Alas & Marcus Pigot t , David Sims , and Steven Meisel are a few of the names out of the many more. His uniquely unusual and innovative hair stylings are published in major magazines like W , AnOther Magazine , Vogue Italia , Paris, British and the USA, POP, and V.

All of the most important designers relied on his expert hands and expertise for the fashion shows and advertising campaigns. Namely Marc Jacobs and  PradaMiu MiuAlexander McQueenLouis Vuitton , and Versace . His talent di lui has been enclosed in the book Heads: Hair by Guido published in 2000. A ten-year collection of excellent collaborations with fashion designers, stylists, and photographers in the creation of fundamental pages of contemporary fashion.

In 2021, Palau was a creative consultant for Redken , an American multinational company of hair products.
