Nichols

Nichols Rozae (1960). American designer. She was born in Los Angeles and studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She collaborated with Surplus, Harriet Selling, Freego and Bensimon, before creating her own collection of womenswear under her own name.
Her style is characterized by an unusual use of materials: costly fabrics used as cheap ones and vice versa. Continuing with her work of researching and mixing non-standard fabrics and materials, such as fused rubber stitching, layering garments, or hand-stitched details, the designer founded a second line, Rozae by Rozae Nichols, true to her idea of casual luxury.
