Italian wool factory, founded in 1889 at Sandigliano di Biella. Up until 1997, it remained in the hands of the family whose name it bears. Afterwards, it was acquired by the San Biagio Group, a company specializing in yarns, becoming its textile division. Taking advantage of the research done by the group in the yarn sector, the wool factory updated its range of textiles, using new mixes of natural fibers and special finishings. The turnover, from 1996 to 1998, was a steady 12 billion lire per year.
&Quad;2003, April. It opened a store in the new shopping center Full&Fifty, opened by Freeland-Capfin in Meda, a town in Brianza. The shop, measuring 5,500 square meters on two floors, stocks full-price clothing from the current season’s collection as well as goods discounted from 30%. The service, Amisuraduomo, has recently been launched. Offered by the San Biagio group, it provides customers with a home tailoring facility, for jackets, shirts and pants.
