Meltin’ Pot

A line of jeans created in 1993 by Augusto Romano in order to breath new life into the family textile firm located in Salento from 1967. Romano was one of the first to bring streetwear to Italy, adapting the American Hip-Hop culture to the Italian casual clothing tradition. In 2002, the business made almost 20 million euros, with a sale of almost a million garments through 700 Italian retail outlets and 400 shops in continental Europe. The company, whose turnover reached 40 million euros, also owns the brands Evo Basic, Go-Go Style, B-side and Get Real.
