Manoelli

Roberto (1936). Manager and organizer of fashion product events. Originally from Milan, after completing his studies at the textile university in Biella, Manoelli began a career in the distribution of clothing and textiles in Italy and abroad, discovering and promoting the importation of French and English designers. He opened a series of Italian fashion stores along the CÂte d’Azur and opened the first fashion outlet store in Milan. In 1969 he created Assomoda, the first association of fashion agents, followed by Milanovendemoda, a prêt-à-porter salon, which was amalgamated with Modit into Momi, the abbreviation of “Moda a Milano”. He headed Momi for 14 years, promoting “Made in Italy” fashions. He founded the Franchising Salon and was involved in marketing and communications, as well as editorial and television productions.
