Maglierie Daisy is a knitwear company based in Florence that originally only produced women’s garments. Founded by the Piccini family in 1957 and taken over by Mario Zetti in 1961. Its creations are exported to various department stores in the United States, Germany and Great Britain. It is also sold in Australia, Canada, and Japan, while approximately 20% of its designs are sold on the Italian market.”


The company launched a range of men’s knitwear created by a team divided between management, design, marketing, sales, and administration. America has been the most receptive foreign market, absorbing 55% of goods for export, followed by England at 35%. In addition to the roughly 150 commercial designs, the company also produces personalized garments, both in terms of design and weave, to order.
