Liolà

Long established firm in the Italian textile and clothing industry. Founded in 1800, it has always belonged to the Giulini family, whose entrepreneurial tradition has now reached the fourth generation and who still direct the company, though supported by a managerial team. Created as a weaving and spinning mill, it began manufacturing in 1958. Diversification was further strengthened through the acquisition in 1965 of a knitwear plant and through the creation of a dyeing-printing mill in 1975. There are 3 plants (Legnano, and Borgomanero and Dormelletto near Novara) which provide a complete textile cycle, from yarn dyeing to printing, knitting and manufacturing. There are 130 franchised stores in Europe, Asia and America. Every year from 4 to 8 collections are presented for a complete range of sizes. Liolà is a niche product for sweater technology. Exports represent 50% of total production.

The company’s motto is: “The Jersey Collection, 100% Made in Italy.” There are 3 production plants for producing 25 types of product from yarn to finished products; there are 4 annual collections: Spring (day and nightwear); Summer (day and formal clothing), Winter (daywear) and elegant (fall and Christmas); finally, 160 own-brand shops around the world.
